gitspine is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and never sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
When you activate a license or during periodic validation, gitspine sends a request to our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) containing only:

gitspine stores the following data locally on your machine in ~/.config/gg/license.json:

gitspine makes network requests only to:
License validation occurs at first run (for trial), upon license activation, and periodically (approximately every 48 hours) when the application is launched. If the network is unavailable, previously validated licenses continue to work offline for up to 30 days.
We use Lemon Squeezy for payment processing and license management. When you purchase a license, your payment information is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy according to their privacy policy. We do not have access to your payment card details.
Local configuration data remains on your machine until you delete it. We retain license records in Lemon Squeezy for the duration of your subscription plus any legally required retention period.
